Conclusion: Based on my data my water quality index was 57. 50-70 is a medium so it was a medium. Since it's a medium it shows that the water quality index was low because of the turbidity, nitrate levels, biochemical oxygen demand, and total phosphates were very low also. Although a medium isn't so bad, a good or excellent is where we should be at. It is known that small amounts of phosphates is not good for the water. The reason why it's at medium is because the fecal coliform, dissolved oxygen, and pH. Now that I know what the water quality index of the San Diego River is, we should do all we can to raise the value of it.
