In this article it talks about how we use to much packaging. With too much packaging causes problems for the environment. Eco-designs of the product and its packaging are specifically intended to enhance environmental conservation. Packaging layers are distinguished into primary, secondary, and tertiary. Manufacturers and product developers may turn in question the costs involved, but should be understood that eco-designs of product and its packaging are intended not only to enhance environmental conservation, but to save long-term production costs. After reading this article, I think we should cut back on packaging. Excessive packaging are physically larger and heavier which place greater burden on logistics causing more environmental and financial costs. People should be more educated about this topic. With more people aware of this, more people can think twice and try not to throw out the packaging that comes with their items. With packaging being reduced we can also save money, and harm the environment less. Although the cost of environmental packaging is expensive we can still try to come up with a way to create one that doesn't require as much money to do so.
