Conclusion: It is important to know the genome of an organism so we can find out what type of species were looking at. By looking at the DNA, we are able to find out whether an animal is endangered or not. This endangered species can also be sold as bushmeat with humans unaware of what there eating and if what there eating may be threatened. When finding out the genome we are able to find out where that species is being hunted and identify the population in that area. We also can help put a stop to the hunting of a certain type of species in that area.
