Summary: This article is about how rabbit fur is used for clothing. Since rabbit fur is much cheaper than any other type of fur, they sell their fur products fro much cheaper to get more costumers to buy their products. Rabbits are a social type of animal who hop around, mark there territories, and communicate to others by thumping. When making fur for clothing animals, such as rabbits are taken to fur farms where they are farmed for their fur. When rabbits are taken to fur farms, they are kept in tiny cages surrounded by their own waste their entire lives with no where to go. With so many high-quality alternatives available, compassionate consumers and animal-friendly fashionistas are sparing bunnies and shunning skins by choosing soft acrylics, brushed cotton, and faux fur instead. Although there is nothing the federal law can do to protect animals such as rabbit from being sent to fur farms, but one thing everyone who is against wearing fur can do is refuse to buy and wear their products. Many retailers even refuse to sell clothing with rabbit fur. Sadly, the rabbits are in need for our help since there are many retailers and costumers that don't realize the cruelty behind the clothing they buy.

Reflection: I chose this article because I'm against fur for clothing. I think that sending animals such as rabbits to fur farms just for their furs is sick and cruel. Like the article said, there are many retailers and consumers that don't realize that there is cruelty in every cuff and collar so why not replace the real fur with fake fur. Although I've heard that fake fur isn't as much better as real fur since it's made out of oils but, I still think that it would be a much better choice then stripping animals such as rabbits for there furs. Animals are being locked up in cages with no where to go just for their fur. There should be more stores and designers who should refuse to use and sell clothing that uses animal fur. I think more people should be protesting stores and other brand named clothing for using animal fur. If stores keep using and selling fur products then more people will start to buy them and more animals will be sent to fur farms. Its sad to know that animals are being taken for their fur and the federal law can say or do to stop it. Rabbits and other animals are in need for our help, and if there's nothing that we can do to stop them, what we are able to do is refuse to buy and wear their clothing.
